The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique is a modern and gentle approach to chiropractic care. It was developed in the 1960s and 2012 marked an exciting time for the technique with the release of the Activator V. The Activator V took 7 years to develop and is the first electronic cordless adjusting instrument to be registered with the FDA. Unlike its predecessor, the spring-loaded Activator IV, the new model produces an adjustment at the thrust of a button and is battery operated. It has only one moving part (the solenoid) that provides a new force wave allowing the force of the adjustment to transmit more deeply. In the end, patients are receiving a more precise, effective and comfortable adjustment.
