The general rule is the smarter the phone, the more radiation is released from it. I never wear my phone on me and educate my patients and staff about it regularly. I also do not sleep with my phone next to me at night like so many people do. I keep it about 3' from me which is a good safety precaution. Dr. Mercola's article states that within 6" of you is the most dangerous. Check out the link below for more information. Just last week we had a patient come in who suffers from Fibromyalgia. Her symptoms are down and her energy is up. The only lingering was a nagging pain in her right glut muscle. Last week was the first time she had heard about cell phone radiation and the problems it can cause. She always carries her phone in her right pocket.
